Parents' FAQ

Where do the children sleep?

In student dormitories next to the festival site, four children to an air-conditioned room. It is not a hotel, and we would rather you know that in advance. There is a dining hall on site serving three meals a day.

Do we need a visa for Taiwan?

No. Israelis enter Taiwan without a visa. You need a passport valid for at least six months from the departure date, plus an online arrival form filed before landing. We handle the paperwork and remind you in time.

Is this a holiday or a performance tour?

A performance tour. The troupe performs almost every day, teaches a workshop to local children and dances Israeli folk repertoire in traditional costume. We kept an evening in Yilan and a full day in Taipei before the flight home.

Can parents join?

The delegation the festival hosts includes only the troupe members and staff. Parents who want to be in Taiwan on the same dates travel separately, and we are happy to build a parallel programme. The shows take place at the festival park in front of an audience.
