Parents' FAQ

Who is responsible for the children during the trip?

Alongside the school's teachers, an Israeli escort from our team is with the group from the airport meeting point until they land back home. All travel is on a coach used only by us, and everyone has group travel insurance. The escort's phone is reachable by parents at any hour.

The competition is only Saturday and Sunday. What happens the rest of the week?

There is a full day at the Meteora monasteries, a morning in the Pelion mountain villages and a day in Thessaloniki with its old town and Christmas market. In between there is a proper rehearsal day before the group competes. No day is left empty.

How are meals and accommodation arranged?

Accommodation is half board: breakfast and dinner at the hotel every day. Lunches are not included, so the group can eat on the move on touring and competition days. The dancers share rooms, and we put the rooming list together with the school.

Does my child need previous experience competing abroad?

No. The event is split into age divisions and styles, from the youngest up, and the group enters the categories that suit it. The teachers choose the numbers, and we submit the registration and the music.
