Parents' FAQ
When do they leave and when do they come back?
They leave on 22 April 2027, the day after Seder night, and return on 27 April. We chose this date so families can hold the Seder at home without pressure. Exact flight times are given before departure.
Is this a competition? Do the kids get scores?
No. Rhythms of Spring is a performance festival, with no scoring and no ranking. The group performs for a real audience alongside ensembles from other countries, without the pressure of a competition.
What about food? What is included and what is not?
Breakfast and lunch are included every day. Dinners are not included, and the group goes out to eat together with the escort. We tell you in advance how much pocket money to send.
How are rooms assigned and what should they pack?
Rooms are shared, three or four participants together, and the plan is made in advance with the school management. Requests can be sent before the trip. Tbilisi is spring-like in April but evenings in Tianeti are cold, so pack a warm layer and comfortable shoes.
