Parents' FAQ

How long are the dancers at the venue on the main competition day?

Sunday 13 December is the main day and it is a long one: the hall runs 09:00-21:00. The group is never left there on its own. The escort stays with the dancers all day, we keep a fixed base near the stage, and we arrange food and drinks between performances.

How many school days does the trip cost?

The first four days, 9 to 12 December, fall inside the Hanukkah break. The last three, 13 to 15 December, are school days. We issue an official participation letter for the school, and it is worth telling the class teacher in advance.

Is the competition suitable for beginners too?

Yes, and that is exactly why we chose it. MOVE is an amateur contest with three streams, Rock & Show, Street and MIX, and separate beginner and advanced levels. Solo, pair and team entries are all possible.

Can I join the trip as a parent?

Yes. Parents who join fly with the same group, stay in the same hotel and ride the same coach, competition days included. Joining is arranged in advance through the school's manager, since places close together with the flight and hotel booking.
