About the trip
A full competition day on an international stage in Krakow, in front of a jury and groups from across Europe. The same trip covers the Kazimierz Jewish Quarter, the Wieliczka Salt Mine and Auschwitz-Birkenau, over six nights with a dedicated escort.

Flight to Krakow and the Market Square
Flight from Tel Aviv to Krakow and a first walk around the Main Market Square and the Cloth Hall.

Wawel Hill and rehearsals
Guided tour of Wawel Hill and St. Mary's Basilica, with rehearsals in the afternoon.

Kazimierz and the festival opening
Heritage tour of the Old Synagogue, the Old Jewish Cemetery and the Schindler's List lanes.

Competition day
The competition runs at the President Hotel on a 10x10 metre floor, in front of a jury and groups from across Europe.

Festival close and the salt mine
The final festival day, followed by a descent to the chambers and the Chapel of St. Kinga at Wieliczka.

Parents' FAQ
When exactly does my child go on stage?
Competition day is Saturday 14 November, at the President Hotel in Krakow. The festival days run across the weekend, and the exact running order is published by the organisers close to the event. The moment it reaches us, it goes out to the parents.
There is a visit to Auschwitz and my child is 12. Is that suitable?
The museum's own guidance is that the visit is less suitable for children under 14. Participation is agreed in advance with the school and with parental consent. Dancers who do not take part get an alternative supervised activity in Krakow.
The dates are in mid November. What about school days?
Correct, the dates do not fall on an Israeli school break, so some school days are missed. We hand over the exact dates as early as possible so they can be coordinated with the school. That coordination runs through the school's management.
What if the group does not come first?
The competition is part of the trip, not the whole trip. Even without a medal the dancers come home with an international stage, with groups from across Europe who watched them, and with a heritage journey through Kazimierz and Auschwitz-Birkenau. We do not promise a result, we promise they will step on stage ready.
