Parents' FAQ

Is this a competition? Will my child stand in front of judges?

No. DUBAI PARADISE is a performance festival, with no judges and no rankings. The group performs a fifteen minute programme in front of an international audience and receives an attendance certificate.

What is the weather in January and what should go in the suitcase?

January is the peak of Dubai's pleasant winter, around 24 to 26 degrees by day and cooler in the desert at night. Summer clothes, a hat and sunscreen, plus one warm layer for the safari evening and the air conditioning. Reasonably modest clothing is the norm in the souks and malls.

What is required for passports and entry to the UAE?

We check the current entry requirements for an Israeli passport with the official sources before every departure. At registration you receive an exact list: passport validity, documents for minors and any further instruction. You do not need to chase this on your own.

How do I stay in touch with my child during the trip?

There is a parents WhatsApp group with a daily update and photos from our escort. The children speak with you during free time, and the time difference from Israel is small. You have the escort's phone number from day one.
