Parents' FAQ
When does the trip depart?
There are no fixed dates. The group picks its dates together with us, around its own calendar. We then build the workshops, auditions and park days around them.
What happens if we are not accepted at one of the parks?
Each performance is approved separately by its own park. A group can be accepted at one and not the other, and the programme is built to stand on its own either way. The workshops, park days and tours stay exactly as they are.
Who supervises the dancers in the parks and in the city?
The studio's teachers and the Art Travel escort are with the group all day. Transfers are by private coach, and in the parks there are fixed meeting points and times. The dancers are never left alone in the city.
What documents need arranging before the trip?
Entry to the United States requires a valid passport plus an entry authorisation or a visa, depending on each participant. We send a clear checklist in advance and stay with every family until it is all sorted.
What about food during the day?
Breakfast is included at the hotel every morning. Lunch and dinner are on the dancers themselves, near the studio or inside the parks. Our escort is there to point them in the right direction and make sure everyone has eaten.
