About the trip
Eight days in Delhi performing at the international folklore festival alongside around ten groups from across the world. The festival is open to every dance style and to dancers from age 7, and the programme includes a guided Delhi tour and full board.

Flight to Delhi and welcome
Flight from Tel Aviv to Delhi, a welcome by the organisers at Indira Gandhi International Airport and a transfer to the hotel.

Festival opening ceremony
Meeting the visiting groups from around the world and a first performance at the opening ceremony.

A performance on one of the festival stages in Delhi, in front of locals and visitors.

A touring day between India Gate, Qutub Minar and the Lotus Temple with a local guide.

A traditional Indian dress session with a group photo shoot, followed by another festival performance.

Parents' FAQ
What ages can join?
The festival accepts dancers from age 7 upwards, with no upper age limit. Which dancers travel is decided by the studio manager.
Is a visa required for India?
Yes. Each participant files their own online e-Visa, and every child needs their own passport and a separate application - a child cannot be added to a parent's passport. The passport must be valid for at least six months from entry, and we send clear instructions and guide the process.
How do we stay in touch with our child?
There is a parents' WhatsApp group with a daily update and photos. The children call home during free time, and our escort is reachable by phone throughout the trip.
What is the weather like in Delhi in January?
January is Delhi's winter, with comfortable days, chilly mornings and evenings, and occasional haze over the city. Before departure we send a full packing list, including warm layers for the mornings.
