Parents' FAQ
Can I join the trip as a parent?
Yes. The festival has an official package for parents and accompanying adults, with a room at the same hotel during the festival days, admission to the Broadway show and a dedicated viewing area at the Times Square performance. Registration goes through us together with the school, so tell us at the planning stage.
What does the group perform, and what is prepared in advance?
Two performances: a number on a Broadway theatre stage, and a performance in Times Square. The number is prepared with the teacher in Israel before departure. The festival supplies the costume, the dance shoes and the bag, so there is nothing to buy in advance.
What is needed to enter the United States?
A valid biometric passport and an online entry authorization for every traveller. We send instructions and a timeline, and check that every participant is sorted well before departure. It is important to start the process early.
Who supervises the dancers when they are not on stage?
All movement around the city happens as a group, with our escort and the school's staff. There is no wandering around New York independently. Free time is given only in defined places, always with adults present and always in pairs or threes.
