About the trip
Three performances on an international stage in Bangkok, a street parade and a traditional-costume showcase. The international dance and song festival hosts ensembles from around the world for six days in March, Thailand's warm dry season.

Flight and arrival in Bangkok
Flight from Tel Aviv to Bangkok, festival staff meet the group at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Festival opening and parade
Opening ceremony and the ensembles' parade through the streets of Bangkok, followed by the first performance.

Old Bangkok
Touring old Bangkok - the Grand Palace and Wat Pho with its reclining Buddha - and the second performance in the evening.

Costume showcase and gift exchange
The traditional-costume showcase and a gift-exchange meeting with Thai dancers.

Chao Phraya river and closing show
A boat ride on the Chao Phraya river past Wat Arun, then the third performance and the closing ceremony.

Return to Israel
A last morning in Bangkok, transfer to the airport and flight back to Israel.

Parents' FAQ
Does my child need a visa for Thailand?
No. Israelis enter Thailand visa free. All you need is a passport valid for at least six months, and we file the digital arrival card for every traveller before the flight.
Who supervises the children and how do we stay in touch?
An Art Travel escort is with the group from departure in Tel Aviv until the return, alongside the studio's own staff. There is a parents' WhatsApp group with daily updates and photos, and the escort is reachable for emergencies.
What about the food and the weather in March?
The programme includes three meals a day, and there are always simple, non-spicy options. March in Thailand is warm and dry, before the rainy season, and we pass any allergy or dietary restriction to the hotel in advance.
What does my child need to prepare for the performances?
The group prepares about ten minutes of material for the stage. Each dancer also brings a traditional costume for the showcase and small gifts from Israel to exchange with the local ensembles.
